THERESA GUY, OWNER

Theresa Guy is a CrossFit Level 2 Trainer and Precision Nutrition Level 1 Certified Coach, with a certificate in Exercise Nutrition. She has over 5 years of experience coaching group CrossFit classes, personal training sessions with people of all ages and abilities, and does personal nutrition coaching in order to help people achieve their goals and feel better.

As well as fitness and nutrition coaching as a profession, Theresa worked for 15 years as an Educational Assistant and continues to do personal training for people with special needs.

Theresa is passionate about helping others reach their full potential and pursue excellence in all aspects of their lives. She believes that personal fitness and nutrition play a huge part in this journey.

Theresa has always been athletic and has competed in many sports such as Tae Kwon Do, distance running, triathlons and CrossFit. However, Theresa understands how easy it is to get off course; after having two children, Theresa felt her personal time reduce significantly and with it, her weekly workouts and fitness classes came to a sudden halt.

After feeling like she was in a slump, Theresa knew that in order to be the best, happiest version of herself- not just for herself but her family as well, fitness and nutrition had to become a part of her life again. She felt her overall happiness improve and makes time everyday to workout and eat well.

Theresa is a big believer that physical health can directly contribute to mental health. Through nutrition and fitness coaching, Theresa dedicates her life to helping people find ways to be healthier, happier and feel better.

Theresa launched Nourishing Routines as a way to help everyday humans find nutrition and fitness programs that suit their lifestyle- from the comfort of their own home.

KELLY GUY

Kelly Guy is a Precision Nutrition Level 1 Certified Coach and a certified CrossFit Level 2 Trainer. She coaches group CrossFit classes at Hydra CrossFit in Stratford and St. Marys Ontario. She also works with hockey teams to teach functional fitness, does one-on-one personal nutrition coaching online, and instructs Tae Kwon Do classes.

Kelly’s passion for coaching started back in 2016 when she began instructing Tae Kwon Do classes to both children and adults (She’s also a Third-Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, but you would never know that by just looking at her).

Kelly loves all things fitness, nutrition, and overall health. She is super passionate about helping people feel the best they can!

As an 20-year-old competitive CrossFit athlete, she understands the importance of eating the appropriate  foods to fuel your sport (and your life) and keeping your mental health in check so as not to burn out. She also understands the issues concerning body image as a young female whose sport involves growing muscles and lifting heavy weights.

Kelly’s goal for her clients is to help them create sustainable changes in their fitness and nutrition journey in order to maximize their lives. She understands how big of an impact healthy eating, a healthy mindset, and daily activity can have on humans. She strives to help people realize their passions and goals in life and create routines that help reach these goals! Her favorite saying is: “Go do the best things in life” and she believes the best places to start are with nutrition, activity, and mindset.

With Kelly’s unique background in health and fitness, it makes her the ideal person to go to if… you want to take the necessary steps to improve your nutrition in order to have more energy, and live a happier and healthier life!

“One of the best things I've ever done for myself was used the support of a nutrition coach.”
